I have always enjoyed to find paintings in a charity shop and take it home for a new coat of paint. I love to give old, or sometimes not that old pictures a new chance to shine on someone's wall. A while ago I found 4 mini pictures, with a printed image on the surface, and I decided to buy them and give them a new chance. They were in my house for the summer and then the idea came to paint butterflies on them. Since my big wall mural had butterflies on it, these mini paintings would match. I ended up painting 5 small paintings with pink butterflies on them. I also painted on another small board in a frame that I had in my house. I took them to the opening of the wall mural and one sold before I had put them on display. I was happy and it was easy to hang for the nice lady who bought it.
I have also bought a nice framed artwork where the painting is faded. I love the frame and will cover the painting with a new coat or two or three of paint. Then I will clean the glass and repaint the frame, and it is going to shine, I know it will look great.
I also paint on new canvas, both cheaper and more expensive canvas. there is a quality difference and my prices will vary due to my expenses for materials. There is just a special feeling of reusing materials that have already made it to the charity shop. I support the charity by paying for it there, then give it new life and someone can enjoy it for years on their wall. That is happiness for me.

I re use my own art work, I can re use others which I have done in the past
