My friend asked me some time ago if I was interested in painting out in public? I contacted the event planner and was signed up. A late September Friday, I went excited to be painting out in public. There were 5 of us in the early team and one more team afterwards. We painted in an open space with a canopy covering us from the rain. The entertainment next to us was very laud and hard to distract from. The subject was open and we could paint anything we wanted. My choice was to use some bright colours in an abstract painting. Lots of bubbles and a few hearts appeared in my painting, as well as part of a cage. A few of the people who walked by stopped to talk. It was a good time. There will be an auction in November where all the artwork will be sold. The money supports homeless in Vejle at Christmas time. I was very happy when a man told me that he liked my painting and would like to buy it. It will be an auction on Facebook and off course I hope to see lots of people follow, or place a bid on the auction. 100% of the money goes towards helping homeless in Vejle at Christmas time. It is a great opportunity to help a person who doesn't have much in life. We need to help one another when we can. Below is the link to the auction.
