Mural news

This is to let you know a little about my artist life again. Last year I was asked if I was interested in painting a wall mural at a local farm.Yes I would like that very much. There are two murals on the way, another artist Ayoe Lise Pløger is going to start a second mural on the farm in August. It is run by volunteers and there are chickens, ducks, rabbits and cats on the farm. There is land and children can have a small lot to grow vegetables in. There are classes in the summer on how to grow your own vegetables.

In the spring, I got a phone call and the money for paint was sponsored by Lions. We were able to go and by paint for the project. So much fun to go to the paint store and get prepared by ordering supplies. I am now well on my way with the mural and if you follow on my instagram and facebook pages there are photos of my progress. It is painted as a landscape, and I have painted a big butterfly and sunflowers. My plan is to add some poppies, just because I love them and love to paint them. Lately there is focus on saving our bees, and without bees we are in trouble too. Lets all support our bees and garden some flowers for our bees. I love to look at flowers and the bees. My painted butterfly is a fantastic and painted with the idea that a person can have a photo taken in front with the wings as background. I would like to involve people in this project.

My first wall mural was in 2003 in North West England, I dont have a photo of it unfortunately, but I remember it being a sunset and sunflowers in a sun room. Now, many years later I painted the sunflowers again.
