Inspired by a good friend

I havnt seen my friend for a long time. so when she came for coffee we had a lot to catch up on. We shared some memories and had a few laughs. We drank a lot of coffee and she reminded me of a painting I did a few years ago. It sold on the first show and I havnt thought of it in a long time. My friend talked about it in a way she remembered it. As in 3D effect and as if you are in the forest on the painting. It made me so happy because it came from her memory of how she saw the painting. Not a forced compliment. To me it was as if it came from her heart. She remembered it from years ago. It must have made an impact on her. That is one of the best compliments for me. So big Thank you for that. Now I have found my digital photo of it and going to order some prints from it. Let me know if it sparks a thought or a feeling for you.

My inspiration for this painting is the forest behind my parents house. I lived there as a teenager and I had many good times walking in between the trees. Dreams and fantasies about my future were created there.
