inspiration

After a long day at work, I went for a walk in the evening. It was dark and raining and I didn't feel like meeting anyone or being around people, so I walked along a quiet road. I could have chosen a road passing through the town, but instead, it was businesses on either side of the road. Most were closed for the day except for one place well it was closed for everybody else but 2 men who were still working. It was a truck repair garage, where they may have been finishing up for the day. They each drove in their own truck, so leaving the parking lot they beeped with their horn. They drove a very short distance and beeped again. It caught my attention and made me smile. The two friends or work colleagues must have finished their work for the day, and said goodbye with the beep sound. It inspired me to smile and think about why they were happy. They were happy I am sure, I could tell from the beep sound. It sounded to me like they said I appreciate you for a good day together at work. How can we tell from a beep sound if someone is happy or not? well, I think we all can tell, even though it is crazy to think about there is a happy way to beep, and an angry way. This kind that I heard was definitely a happy and inspiring way. It inspired me and my walk alone and away from people had been influenced by 2 men who probably didn't even notice that I was there. It inspired me to pass on a little everyday experience, it made me smile, and who knows maybe you can also Enjoy the little things in life.

My little owl painting has been put away for a while and I recently painted another coat, and made the sky darker. It is a night time owl, with the moon in the back ground. I didnt see an owl on my walk, but this one is cute and I like it. The look on the owl's face is one of surprise. Perhaps someone sounded a horn nearby.
