This is a question meant for normal times, not like it is now where we are mostly at home. It is not long ago that I went with a close friend of mine to visit Vejle art museum. The exhibition was a local artist who has made a series of paintings of Japanese women. It was interesting to see, and I have never before seen drawings, and paintings on paper directly attached to the wall. I liked to see this, to me a feeling of being closer to the artist. My friend and I looked at the show and didnt talk much during the visit. We are comfortable in each others company also in silence. I value this in a friendship. Before we left the museum we talked to the receptionist, an idea came up, I have had lots of art exhibits, but only very few in museums. A very pleasant visit and later we had a coffee in a cafe. We went to my friends place where we were catching up in each others lives. We finished our day with a take away from an Indian place.

At home were two young men waiting to go out for the evening. I drove for them to pick up a friend, it was a Friday night. We were all happy, because I had my experience from the art museum and spending time with my friend. The young men were happy to go out, I was happy to be able to go home to relax. It is only a short few weeks ago, and yet life was different then. I am writing this and appreciate the day and memory of it. A great day to remember, and I am grateful for friends, young people and inspiration from art museums.
